Hi, I first must apologies as i'm a non english speaker, which will eventually lead to difficulties to explain things and make it understandable.
Anyway...
Reading your posts I can tell you that I noticed that :
Brankruptcy also allow you at the restart of a fresh game to make obviously too high loans. It seems that no one adressed this issue here, or elseway I was not able to find the post.
With my 1st airline I failed to chose the good airport as a headquarter. But i only noticed my mistake when my compagny had $200 000 000 worth of assets.
I tested the bankruptcy option. At the restart I had the opportunity to chose a $500 000 000 loan.
Not really aware of the fact it might be a bug I got the loan, and started the new airline.
The economics sheets of the office page were pretty buggy after that, not showing in the expenses related to the repay of the loan. I only had to see the value of the interest i was paying.
As the game kept going, it was obvious the compagny was runing to another bankruptcy. I did it again, I saw an unbelieveble amount offered to the loan. Which made me stop, and start another account.
My thought as i understood it (I might be absolutly wrong) are that the loan system calculates the value of the loan available based on the weekly or monthly result of the last week or month. While you make bankruptcy, your income is credited with $50 000 000 (or maybe more if it take account ofthe global value of the assets that get lost), which lead the bank to allow huge loan for the 1st week or month after the bankruptcy.
If ever you are interestedinhaving a look on the raw data, my compagny was Edd Air, based in China.
If it happens that I am right, it might be helpful to prevent loan for a period of time after the bankruptcy.
Once again, I apologies if I'm being unclear.
