Airline Reputation not adding up
« on: April 26, 2019, 01:50:48 am »
As I understand it from the Game Mechanics thread, passenger volume will cap out your Reputation at 50. This is something I experienced and it makes sense. To increase reputation beyond 50 you need to become a champion of a country to earn further rep points. However this calculation isn't adding up when I look at one of my competitors.

Airline = Hoan Air (sorry if this is your airline, I just need to use an example to understand!)
- Reputation cap = 50
- Country #1 Rep = 1
- Country #2 Rep = 1
- Country #3 Rep = 1
- Country #4 Rep = 1
- Country #5 Rep = 1.3
- Country #6 Rep = 4.56

So as I understand it the total Rep should be 50+1+1+1+1+1.3+4.56 = 59.86

However, the total Rep for Hoan Air is 80.86

What am I missing from the Reputation Calculation? How does Hoan Air have a rep that is 20 points higher than I am expecting? Is there a further attribute used in the Reputation Calculation that I am missing?

Yeah, the part you forgot is the alliance reputation boost. He's in Unisky, the biggest alliance, which gives him a 20 point boost.
