declining profit after changing planes
« on: October 22, 2018, 07:06:29 pm »
I just changed the type of planes on some of my lines for bigger ones, but suddenly, even with 100% capacity, those lines are loosing money. Am i safe to assume that this might be caused because i am using planes with a higher fuel burn then the previous ones?

In general using higher capacity airplane will give u higher profit but lower profit margin. Yes bigger airplane tend to burn more fuels.

Also different airplanes (especially manufacturer) could vary quite a bit in fuel burn

Another factor is that bigger a/c usually have longer turnover time, so they might not be economical for really short routes
