Can u try to disable the airplane dots animation? click on the button on the bottom right of the google map (a dot and an arc arrow). and see if it works better?

I noticed that opening the game page on an older computer would use quite a lot of CPU usage. I suspect it might be the background animation.

I hope there could be an option to disable it.

Edit: Confirmed, city1.gif is causing higher CPU usage
