Just a quick update. Spent a few hours trying to make the animation looks better..

It's kinda useless but it's good to have some distraction lol

How are you getting this?
Also- very interesting concept. Are the delegates gonna cost $$?

Just rough concept but delegates are not going to cost money, they are just like employees in the company that are around based on the size of the airline. There will be a cooldown after negotiation engagement for each delegate

Have rebooted coding on V2 :)

Some updates on the negotiation system. In V2, there will no longer be any slots limitation as a direct number now. Rather, it will be integrated into the negotiation system which will be in place for new flights/increase freq/increase capacity flow.

The details are mostly still WIP, many things will affect the difficulty of the negotiation, for example (not limited to):

1. Airline reputation
2. Airline relationship with from/to country (a new thing - we will likely introduce a more complicated system. For example the alliance affiliation, airline relationship with this countries' enemies, alliance. existing service provided etc)
3. National/partner airline
4. Country openness
5. Existing competition (new flight)
6. Existing load factor (existing flight)
7. Previous failed negotiations? (make it easier for next one)

The factors above will determine how many delegates at the minimum will be required - this makes some routes impossible for certain condition - for example the airline relationship with a country is too bad, the country is a close economy - but it's all relative - perhaps with certain parameter changes, it might become available - for example airline reputation increased, increased tie with such country etc etc

Now we mention this "delegate" system, so the draft is that every airline will have certain number of delegates available probably according to its size. Delegates can be assigned to a negotiation, the more delegates the more likely it will be successful. Once a delegate is engaged in a negotiation, it will be unavailable for a certain period of time before it's made available again

Anyway, a WIP screenshot here:
