Cool! Then let's get back to that once v2 is out.

Thanks for the great work :D

Hi sorry for the late reply, i was and am still pretty focused on V2 development

Thank you for the suggestions!
I will address the typo changes

As for airplane parameters, it's simply that we do not have enough time yet to review them for v2. The fuel burn is something to manipulate the profitability calculation, not realistic most of the time, it's more like just a thing as "cost to operate" - to make bigger airplane having a thinner margin, otherwise they would be too overpowered

I did add Beechcraft King Air somehow w/o reading ur message (in v2) hehe

Just one thing, I will likely not rename the Bombardier, cause i want a Canadian manufacturer lol. This is a fantasy/sand box game world, so model naming does not have to be up-to-date.

Hey everyone!  :)

Here is a tentative list of proposed airplane updates/fixes I compiled over time, in no particular order:
  • Correct typo in McDonnell Douglas airplanes (it's written with one "l" and not with two)
  • Rename the Bombardier C Series to Airbus A220 and update using Airbus specs (or create new versions with the Airbus names, so the old ones are still in the game)
  • Fix the Airbus A321neo. The previous A321neo-LR is now the standard A321, along with the XLR
  • Separate the Airbus A320 neo family from the ceo
  • Rename Bombardier Q400 (this is the new generation right?) to DeHavilland Dash 8-400 and fix the other Bombardier names (Q300 etc)
  • Make speed consistent among aircraft of the same family (based on reality of course)
  • Add realistic fuel burn as a spec and add other costs in the calculation (simulating number of pilots/flight attendants needed based on size, seating layout, distance, time, etc) - that's more complicated for sure but will take away the illusion that bigger and newer aircraft burn much more than the smaller/older ones
  • Fix pricing based on manufacturing year, being still in production, etc. so that they reflect similar value and not just price, which changes over the years according to industry value, inflation etc.

And some proposed additions:
  • Pilatus PC-12NG and PC-12NGX
  • Beechcraft King Air (let's get more light aircraft in the game, comment more as I don't know lots of brands and models in that category :)
  • Pilatus PC-24
  • ATR 42-500 and 72-500 (just some older versions so the newer can get better specs, as they deserve
  • ATR 42-600 STOL (for very short runways, pretty useful if patson considers runway lengths in the future ;) )

I am more than happy to gather info about those, so let me know so I can start digging! Also, please comment and add your own suggestions. The game is as good as we want it to be :)
