Encompass are pleased to announce a 98% success rate of flights in the past financial quarter! This figure includes only those flights which departed, as thanks to our policy of never cancelling every passenger who booked a ticket flew! We will continue to upgrade our network between the second-rate airports of the world and strive to have an experience for every valued cattle customer!

p.s. Polar Fox Clan unite!

Encompass Airlines would like to remind those passengers unwilling to spend ridiculous amouts of money that we provide cheap services between the Eastern USA and Europe. Our fleet of Cessna Caravans and EMB120s are ready to give you the true exonomy experience as you soar over the Atlantic via Iceland. Once you arrive at either St John's in Canada or Bristol in the UK, you can enjoy further connecting flights on planes that definitely aren't falling apart, that's just your imagination. If you have any problems, just ask your cabin crew. They're great listeners, we can't afford real ones so they're painted onto the bulkhead.

General Discussion / Re: Multi-Airport Cities
« on: July 18, 2018, 07:02:58 am »
I'm not the developer, but I think that they overlap population coverage. If you look at the airport details page it shows a map with a radius around the airport which it draws passengers from. When there are multiple airports (e.g. the 4-6 in and around London) they overlap so passengers probably would go on whichever is available.

They probably do, but the passenger map only seems to show one way.

Great, thanks!

For example, my airline's headquarters are in BRS. There is a flight from BRS-MUC. I also have a base in GOA. Can I have a flight from GOA-MUC as well as having the BRS-MUC flight? If not, could this be added?

Nice, all my flights are under 2000 miles so this'll help newer players like me compete with the big boys and NPC airlines.

Bug Reports / Re: United Kingdom in wrong position on country list
« on: July 13, 2018, 07:29:31 am »
That is after sorting by name, I think it's done by country code. Micronesia is FSM, so it fits after FRA and before GBR. There are a few more instances of it too, they're all in alphabetial order of country codes.

First, stop the aircraft from flying its route, either by cancelling the route or changing the aircraft to the new one. Then go to the Airplane tab, select the aircraft type from the list, on the bottom of the right hand popup there will be some blue and grey aircraft icons. The grey ones don't have routes set, those are the ones you can sell. Click on them and then click "sell".

Try clicking and dragging the arrow on the top right corner of the green box in the flight planning screen.

Bug Reports / United Kingdom in wrong position on country list
« on: July 09, 2018, 04:41:53 am »
The list is alphabetical, but the United Kingdom is in the G section.

(Looks like the list is done with country codes, and GBR is the UK's)

Hi,

I've used Google Maps to create aerial images of every UK airport in the game. Please could you add these to the game so that players can see roughly how big each airport is?

Over the next few weeks I'll be producing more of these images with the eventual goal of imaging every airport in the game (a few thousand).

Under Development / Wish List / Suggestions / Re: Upgrades and tech
« on: July 08, 2018, 01:51:51 pm »
I'd like to suggest a sort of extension of this, what equipment is fitted in the plane. IFE systems could boost service level and things such as a glass cockpit could improve flight efficiency.

Ballykelly (BOL) is also closed.

(Sorry for the multiple posts, reporting them as I find them.)
