oooo that sounds like an interesting idea~~~

Perhaps airline that funds that research could have exclusive right to use the airplane for X number of years.

Though need to be very careful with the balance, the range limit right now provides some strategic gameplay - for example in order to fly to the smaller airports in Hawaii, you would have to go through honolulu airport (as other airports are too small for large jet, but only large jet has enough range to reach hawaii) So it creates a "gateway" affect for honolulu airport, but having small planes that fly far might change that


I will still add that to my wish list though as it sounds like a nice "end-game" idea, so keep them coming

One idea that i implemented long ago but haven't pushed out/fully implemented is a "city project" idea (expand airport/enhance city population and boosts - vacation hub/business hub etc)

Adding to the list of "research unlockables" a mileage program would be cool, maybe as a type of marketing expense.

Maybe there could be research categories with their own trees

Rewards Program                 ways to reduce fuel usage          bookkeeping (like that bank history screen i suggested)
